Deserted Wild Boar Hotel (Beeston, England)
This phenomenal lot of land is known as the Wild Boar Hotel or formerly known as Beeston Towers. The property is also a former country house turned hotel which closed in 2017. The building also had use as a school in the 1930’s which later developed into a restaurant. In 1886, this magnificent estate was built for John Naylor (a timber merchant from Warrington).
The Wild Boar hotel, which opened in 1998, consisted of 38 bedrooms and even a luxury spa. All that remains now is destroyed period pieces and a vacant shell of a house. Amazingly, some glory remains in what can be seen as only a time capsule of a stunning chandelier, remarkable wall carvings and a sensational fireplace.
So many memories of the business exists within the building. Starting with the fact that some hotel rooms look UNTOUCHED with a semi functioning bathroom. Some, on the other hand, look extremely eerie due to the state they have been left in. This was one of the longest explores taking several hours…there was so much to see, some awe-inspiring decorations and the electricity appeared to be on still! If everyone else only left footprints then grand places like these would not be deteriorating at the level they are.
