Journey [Kelionė]
Journey (Kelionė) is a pagan folk song blending our religion, our strong bond with nature and a spiritual journey as well as embracing our heritage. Encouraging people of all paths to open up their eyes to what is beyond their physical vision and to look deeper into nature. Lithuanian, one of the oldest and ancient languages is beautifully incorporated into this song and credit to the indigenous Baltic religion in Lithuania. This song is a devotion to our ancient Norse, Baltic & Celtic gods. A devotion to nature and being free…waking up from the dark abyss. The track represents a spiritual journey and a further awakening…one which has broadened our horizon and has been an enlightening experience. Our life is a journey, both in body and in spirit.
Just like our ancient ancestors.
It’s a reference to native Lithuanian language and homeland, as well as the embrace of Scotland. This is a beautiful combination of mine and my wife’s roots. Lithuania and Scotland. Glory to Scandinavian ancestors too!
We honour our shamanic and pagan ways…Welcoming our Viking ancestors way of life. Embracing rich Scottish ancestral heritage and the different indigenous Baltic, Scandinavian and Slavic family heritage and relations.
Lyrics
Bless the ancient ones
Bless the ancient ones
Awaken your soul from the dark abyss
Hear the whispers from the spirits of the mighty trees
Hear the chants of the healers by the ocean breeze
Deep in the forest, we dance by the fire and the leaves
CHORUS
Old ways never die
Feel the trance of the shamans dance
Embrace the inner journey
Sacred Mother Earth
[INSTRUMENTAL]
CHORUS
Old ways never die
Feel the trance of the shamans dance
Embrace the inner journey
Sacred Mother Earth
[INSTRUMENTAL]
Pažvelk giliau į gamta
(Look closer into nature)
Žmogus nelaimingas, todėl kad nepažįsta gamtos
(A person is not happy because they do not know nature)
Pažvelk giliau į gamta
(Look closer into nature)
Žeme yra muzika
(Earth is music)
Tiems kurie jos klauso
(To those who listen)
Prijimk gamtos ritmą
(Accept natures rhythm)
Gamta mus supa
(Nature carries us)
