Music journey of Arizona rap group ‘Dead Till Monday’ and drop of first music video
The creative duo ‘Dead Till Monday’ consists of producer known as Ray and vocalist Eero, originally from Phoenix in Arizona. Both members admit to doing music all of their life then coming together to produce astounding tunes influenced by trap and EDM. “Eventually we took a leap of faith and moved to California to pursue our dream” the rap group recalls.
Having lived in Sacramento, California for approximately four years, the duo has discovered a lively music scene and the infinite talent in a great community of artists. Their dream? To make music. It is as simple yet passionate as that. Group member, Ray, got into production when the EDM scene in Arizona became fashionable. Vocalist, Eero, became influenced by old soul music alongside classic emo bands.


‘Dead Till Monday’ has recently released their first very own music video and it is gaining popularity for sure! The song itself ‘Pull Up’ is based on a story. “A look into a life of a person who has to take unnecessary means in order to provide for himself” ‘Dead Till Monday’ continue to say “There is an internal struggle between his humanity and “demons” persuading him to act on their will”. The duration of the filming lasted a few days whereas the editing procedure took around a month resulting in impressive distinctive visuals. The music group decided to create a small window where people can see what goes on and where they are from. “It’s a look into the life of a person who has to hustle to get by, along with trips visuals and aesthetics”.

Excitement ascends as a new mix-tape is expected to be released late January or early February of 2019. There is a vast number of stuff that ‘Dead Till Monday’ are perfecting on and the rap group desire to ensure the best quality products for all the current and potential fans. “We can’t wait for everyone to hear it” the group discloses. Yet, fans will be eager to hear that new single ‘Work It Out’ shall be dropping around Christmas-Time.
‘Dead Till Monday’ have experienced extreme conditions and limitations to their music when struggles faced them. The duo reveal that when in their homeless state, it was a challenge not being able to turn ideas into music. The musicians declare that music will never be their obstacle. Through the bad days come good days, when success occurs. Including a development of a strong following of listeners which continue to grow on streaming sites. ‘Dead Till Monday’ wish for an opportunity to play alongside other established artists including ‘Shakewell’, ‘Lil Pump’, ‘Larry June’, ‘Slug Christ’ and ‘Ramirez’. “We want to be a voice for a huge demographic of kids just like us” comments ‘Dead Till Monday’.
