Emo-trap is rising in the scene with influence of gifted musician Emoflytrap
Talented individual from California receives recognition for his distinctive music. Going by the name of ‘Emoflytrap’, Nate from Sacramento in California has obtained an exceptional spot in the music industry releasing compositions that are described as emo alternative rap. The 19-year-old is not losing sight over his music when he enters this fame-obsessed world. Instead Nate confesses “I do it more for the art and emotions of making music”.
Significant influence has been formulated by iconic alternative artists including ‘Lil Peep’, ‘Nirvana’, ‘Blink 182’, ‘The Cure’, ‘Green Day’, ‘Good Charlotte’ and ‘Matty Healy’. “All of which are the number one people I look up to for music” exclaims ‘Emoflytrap’. The musician has already collaborated with a producer called ‘Splashgvng’ and has a desire to work alongside ‘Foreign Forest’ in the nearby future. If given another artist to compare himself to, his answer is ‘Lil Lotus’. Their style in music is comparable and Nate describes them as “sad boys who still flex” producing 2008 emo style music.
The dream location for many global and upcoming artists, including Nate, is ‘Madison Square Garden’ based in New York. The birth town of the musician is assembled of a number of hidden talent and Nate clarifies “somebody’s going to put the city of Sacramento on the maps very soon”.
The emo-trap genre is well defined in the new Halloween EP called “If there’s no drugs in heaven just send me to hell”. The exclusive EP consists of three tracks with a feel of Marilyn Manson’s eminent “Sweet Dreams” which combines a perfect combination of emo and spooky whilst the portrayal of the lyrics is based upon Vampires and Halloween.
